Actual territory of the free state of Fiume (red, 1920-1924) and what it could’ve been (dotted line).

The Free State of Fiume (officially known as the Regency of Carnaro) was
a short-lived state that existed from 1919 to 1924 in the city of Fiume
(now Rijeka, Croatia) and its surrounding territory, which had been
part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire prior to World War I. After the war,
there was a dispute over the control of Fiume, with Italy and
Yugoslavia both claiming the territory. In response to this dispute, a
group of Italian nationalists led by Gabriele d’Annunzio seized control
of the city in September 1919 and declared the Free State of Fiume, with
d’Annunzio as its leader.

‘I need to get into serving asap’: Texas Roadhouse server shares how much she makes in a week

Across TikTok, many users have gone viral after sharing how much they make in their respective jobs.

Workers from places like Cheesecake Factory, Waffle House, Domino’s and more have all taken to the platform to share their earnings, often sparking discussion and debate in the process.

Now, another user’s video on TikTok has gone viral after detailing how much she makes from her job at Texas Roadhouse.

In a video with over 487,000 views as of Friday, TikTok user Zoe (@zozorainee) takes users through a week in her work life. By the end, she’s worked 36 hours and taken home over $800, giving her an average hourly wage of around $22.49.

“Not a bad week!” she says at the end of her video. In a comment, she clarified the amount was just what she made in tips.

@zozorainee This week was pretty good!! Sorry im literally so chaotic but HOPE YALL ENJOYED 🥰🥰🥰🥰😝😝😝 #texasroadhouse #serverlife #fyp #howmuchimake #howmuchimakeinaweek #foryoupage #greenscreenvideo #txrhlife #texasroadhouseserver #greenscreen ♬ original sound – zozo

In the comments section, many users were impressed by Zoe’s earnings.

“$809 for 36 hours is crazy,” one user wrote. “I need to get into serving asap.”

“I have no idea how you make that much on 2/3 tables,” another said. “That was how many we were given at my roadhouse.”

Zoe’s take-home pay is more than most servers. One source claims that the average server takes home $100 daily; at over $800 for six days of work, Zoe’s income exceeds this average.

However, a few users noted that Zoe could increase her take-home pay by switching her working location, with several users suggesting that Zoe check out local seafood restaurants for jobs.

“Girl I’m telling you, if you have a seafood place near you GO THERE. I work at a red lobster and make OVER 1k JUST FROM THE WEEKEND,” a commenter alleged.

“Oh my goodness I thought y’all made way more than other places,” a second added. “I make around 1,200-1,400 a week in a small town.”

“You should definitely bartend! 30 hours and left with $1,350 this past week,” claimed a third.

Overall, users spoke highly of the serving lifestyle, with most in agreement that it’s a consistent way to earn quick cash.

“I have a full time job and serve as a second job,” detailed a user. “I make more money serving than i do hourly at my full time.”

Here Is How She’s Doing Today

When discussing the most influential women in 20th century music, you’d be hard-pressed to not put Joni Mitchell at the top of the list. The Canadian singer-songwriter rose to fame in the 1960s folk music circuit and helped define an era with hit songs such as “Big Yellow Taxi” and “Woodstock.” For her efforts, Joni has been awarded 10 Grammys and was even inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

In 2023, Joni was further honored when she received the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. It goes without saying that the singer has accomplished several lifetimes worth of feats within her own, but how is her health nowadays? Is there anything for fans to be concerned about?

How is Joni Mitchell’s health today?

Now 79 years old, Joni has been a figure in the world of music since the mid-1960s. Given that her age is advancing, some fans are concerned if the singer has any health issues to look out for.

As of the time of writing, Joni seems to be in fair health. Neither the singer nor her representation have insinuated that she is facing any pressing medical issues, and she even made a rousing live appearance at the beginning of March 2023 for her Gershwin Prize ceremony.

Joni Mitchell has faced health issues in the past.

Things may be going well for Joni presently, but that wasn’t always the case. Looking back all the way to her childhood, she had a serious bout of polio that even circled back once again in her adult years. Per Joni’s website, she first faced polio at 9 years old. Then, at 51 years old, Joni battled post-polio syndrome when the symptoms of the condition came back again.

Beyond polio, Joni has also dealt with a little-known condition called Morgellons disease over the years. The singer described her symptoms in a 2010 Los Angeles Times interview. She told the publication that she had “this weird, incurable disease that seems like it’s from outer space.”

Joni described the symptoms as “fibers in a variety of colors protrude out of my skin like mushrooms after a rainstorm: they cannot be forensically identified as animal, vegetable or mineral.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, Morgellons disease “is a condition characterized by a belief that parasites or fibers are emerging from the skin. People with this condition often report feeling as if something is crawling on or stinging their skin.”

The jury is out on the cause of it too. The clinic notes that “Some health care providers recognize the condition as a delusional infestation and treat it with antidepressants, antipsychotic drugs, cognitive behavioral therapy and counseling. Others think the symptoms are related to an infectious process in skin cells.”

Thankfully, Joni seems to have mitigated her symptoms, telling The Star in 2013, “I’m not cured but I’ve found a helpful physician way outside the box. Western medicine says this doesn’t even exist; it’s a psychotic disease. It’s not.”

Regardless of the true medical origin of the condition, all of Joni’s fans can agree that it’s a good thing she’s feeling better.

Tekashi 69’s Sauna Attackers Have Been Jailed On Robbery And Assault Charges

On March 21, Tekashi 69, real name Daniel Hernandez, was hospitalized after being attacked in the sauna in LA Fitness in Lake Worth, Florida. Footage showed a man punching and kicking Hernandez and several attackers can be seen in the video. He suffered cuts to his face as well as injuries to his back, ribs, and jaw.

It was reported today (March 31) that three men have been arrested in connection to the event, according to Billboard. Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado were arrested on robbery and assault charges, said The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Their respective ages are 43, 23, and 25.

In August of last year, the notorious rapper’s girlfriend, Rachel Wattley, was arrested on a battery charge after punching him. He told TMZ directly, “She attacked me in front of the police. I told them, ‘You have to evaluate her, she’s obviously under the influence.’ I don’t plan to press charges … I’m the one trying to bail her out.”

Earlier in 2022, he was punched from behind at a nightclub. Along with that, he was sued for aggravated battery by a stripper last year who said he hit her with a champagne bottle after missing his intended target in a club fight.

Girl Hides in Friend’s Mom’s Car on a Spring Break Road Trip

Buckle in — this TikTok saga is a wild ride! On March 18, 2023, TikTok creator @ryyse shared a video of herself hiding in her best friend’s mom’s car to tag along on their spring break road trip. Her friend’s mother had no idea, and Ryse left viewers hanging after posting a clip of herself concealed under a blanket several hours into the journey.

“When we are [five] hours into my best [friend’s] spring break road trip, and her mom still doesn’t know I’m here,” the TikTok creator wrote in her original video that garnered 14.3 million views. So, what happened after? Here’s how the secret road trip unfolded!

Watch: Girl hides in friend’s mom’s car on a spring break road trip.

Five hours into the trip, Ryse’s friend’s mother didn’t realize another person was in the car. But people in the comment section thought the mom was in on it. “She knows,” one person said. “She’s letting y’all have this moment.” However, the update Ryse posted at the road trip’s halfway point seemingly disproves this theory.

Once they reached the hotel for the night, Ryse hid in the closet while her best friend’s mom got settled in. Then, when the mother and daughter duo went out for dinner, Ryse moved into the hotel bathroom and slept in the bathtub. “If you are wondering how I ate, my best friend brought me food!” the TikTok creator revealed.

Ryse’s best friend asked viewers on TikTok how they should reveal the secret spring break road trip to her mom.

After spending the night in the hotel’s bathtub, Ryse hopped back in the car and successfully hid for the rest of the ride. In another TikTok video, the creator’s best friend asked viewers to give them suggestions on how to reveal their secret to her mom.

One person commented, “Just start unloading at the first destination,” adding, “No acting strange.” Another user suggested, “When [you’re] almost there, say, “Do you have gum?”

While the comment section’s suggestions were undoubtedly creative, the end result couldn’t have been more wholesome.

Ryse successfully reached the final destination of the spring break road trip without her best friend’s mom noticing.

The secret spring break road trip was unbelievably thrilling, but the payoff was even better. After spending some time at the final destination’s pool, Ryse and her best friend casually strolled into the mom’s hotel and the TikTok creator asked, “Hey! Do you have any snacks I could eat?” The best friend’s mother was understandably dumbfounded, responding, “What are you doing here?”

And her aunt’s reaction topped her mom’s response. “Who the hell are you?” she asked. Ryse then explained how she hid in her car the entire road trip and her best friend’s mom erupted into a fit of laughter before double-checking to ensure that her parents knew about her whereabouts (they did!).

After receiving confirmation, the group began celebrating Ryse’s ability to spend the entirety of spring break with them. “Mission complete!” the creator wrote in her caption.

‘That had to be an inside job’: Customer says someone opened and skinned all the rotisserie chickens at Sam’s Club

A big reason why so many people were simultaneously entranced and horrified by Heath Ledger’s performance in 2008’s “The Dark Knight” can be summed up in one quote Michael Caine’s character said about the Joker: “Some men just want to watch the world burn.” There are psychological standards used to assess this kind of behavior and according to Royal Society Publishing, “Recent research shows that some individuals have a strong desire to incite chaos when they perceive themselves to be marginalized by society.”

For one Sam’s Club anarchist, it appears that they’ve decided to take vengeance against the world by opening containers of rotisserie chicken, stealing the skins, while leaving their bare flesh exposed on the shelves for other customers to find.

@putrid_poser 😭😭😭😭 y u do dis #samsclub #samsclubrotisserie #rotisseriechicken #samsrotisseriechicken #chickenskin #chicken ♬ original sound – bonbonn

A TikToker by the name of Bonbonn (@putrid_poser) posted a viral clip of the poultry problem, saying in the video, “Who the hell, opened and freaking skinned all the rotisserie chickens and left them open at freaking Sam’s Club right now?”

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, if you suspect someone has tampered with a food product at a business, you should immediately contact a store manager to alert them of the issue. If you brought the item home before realizing it’s been messed with, then you should contact your local police department and file an official report. There are also dedicated phone numbers listed on the agency’s website, one for meat and poultry and another for seafood, eggs, and other items where you can call to alert an agent to the particulars of the food tampering you’ve experienced.

In recent years, viral videos circulated the internet that purportedly shows internet pranksters intentionally tampering with food in stores and placing them back on shelves and refrigerators. While in some of these instances, it turned out that the jokester was just flexing for the camera and ended up buying the tampered product, like this Texas man who opened a tub of ice cream and licked the top, there have been some scary reported incidents where food tampering went past someone taking a little taste of a sweet treat. Like when David Lohr was caught poisoning food at a Safeway with vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, which creates the “toxic and corrosive” peracetic acid.

One TikToker who saw Bonbonn’s post called the chicken skinner’s actions “insane behavior.” Others found humor in the skin-stealing debacle, with a user writing, “It was me… I had a pregnancy craving.”

Another penned, “Eric Cartmans 100%,” while someone else said, “This is a hate crime. And I will not stand for it.”

Someone else demanded that justice be served, sharing, “I want them to rewind the cameras please I need to see it in action then I want the culprit to be interviewed.”

Another TikTok user suggested that this sort of thing “would never” happen at a Costco, which seems to be supplanted by another commenter who simply said, “Sam’s Club says it all.”
