Is Bershan Shaw Married? What’s Her Current Relationship Status?

The latest addition to the cast of RHONY likes to keep her personal life under wraps.

Bershan Shaw is a reality TV veteran and an OWN personality, having starred in hit shows like Love in the City and The Society Moms Talk Show. It appears, however, that Bershan is fairly cautious about letting too much information slip about her relationship status or the identity of her previous partners. We investigate: Is Bershan married?

So, is Bershan Shaw married?

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Bershan moved to New York to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Syracuse University before enrolling in a master’s degree course at NYU in 1995.

As Bershan told Sharrell’s World, she has stayed in the Big Apple ever since. According to LinkedIn, she worked as a production assistant on Today and as an account executive at DKC before opening her own restaurant, Haven Restaurant and Lounge. But what about Bershan’s relationships?

As Bershan explained in the interview with Sharrell’s World, she was first diagnosed with breast cancer when she was in her early thirties. The illness came back a few years later — and it soon progressed to stage four. Bershan said that she found out about the harrowing health complication just two weeks before she got married.

“The reason I married him [is] because he stuck by me. Finding out that your wife has stage-four breast cancer two weeks before the marriage could change your life,” Bershan said, per Us Weekly. “You can say, I can’t deal with it — the sickness, the chemo, the wearing scarves, the throwing up, the drugs, the debilitating — my husband stuck by me. He told me, ‘I’m going to be there. You’re my wife, I’m going to be there.’ Then I knew, this is the man of my dreams.”

There are no further details available on the wedding, however. To make matters even more enigmatic, Bershan has rarely ever talked about the mystery man in a public capacity.

As a court paper available on FindLaw suggests, however, she and her ex, whose name is likely David W. Bradley, got divorced a few years ago. And, if the document is anything to go by, they didn’t part ways on amicable terms.

Aside from this ex, Bershan hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone else.

In the April 2021 interview with Sharrell’s World, Bershan confirmed that she is not married at the moment. She didn’t share details about her current relationship status, however. It’s possible that she is single.

So, how much is Bershan’s net worth?

An unstoppable businesswoman, Bershan reportedly became a motivational speaker around the same time as she beat breast cancer the second time around. Her book, URAWARRIOR 365 Ways to Challenge You to a Better Life, came out in April 2014. What’s more, she also launched a social networking site, UraWarrior.com, which aims to connect people who are undergoing similar difficulties.

According to LinkedIn, Bershan continues to serve as the owner of Haven Restaurant and Lounge, and continues to work as a motivational speaker, career coach, and the CEO of Warrior Training International, a company focusing on leadership skills development. She also hosts a podcast series, Buckle Up with Bershan Shaw. Bershan joined the cast of RHONY on Leah McSweeney’s recommendation

Ewan McGregor Confirms Noel Gallagher’s Claim That They Once Exchanged Lightsaber Blows

While stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night, Ewan McGregor finally confirmed a Noel Gallagher anecdote that everyone just assumed was a tall tale from the Oasis rocker. As Gallagher tells it, he gave McGregor “lightsaber lessons” shortly after the actor was cast as a young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. When asked by Kimmel if the story is true, McGregor admits that he did exchange lightsaber blows with his old friend, but he wouldn’t exactly call it training. Via THR:

“Well, it was Noel Gallagher’s 30th birthday party and he lived quite close to me in London, north London,” McGregor began, laughing. “And I was at his party and then there was a lightsaber fight in his garden very early the next day in the morning. But I don’t remember too much instruction. I don’t remember any lessons being given by Noel. It was just more of a battle in the garden.”

As for who won, McGregor was completely honest about the festivities. “I would be surprised if either of us could remember that.” Of course, Kimmel’s questioning wasn’t completely random. McGregor is currently pulling double duty filming the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+ and promoting Halston, his upcoming limited series for Netflix that stars McGregor as the late, openly gay fashion icon who famously lost his once glamorous clothing line in a sale to J.C. Penney.

In fact, the actor was recently filming the Kenobi series on May the 4th, a major holiday for Star Wars fans, and he teased Kimmel that he got to shoot a scene with a “someone very special in my life” who he’s never worked with before. But unlike the Gallagher tale, McGregor wasn’t offering any confirmations despite Kimmel trying his best.

Michael Jordan Reveals His Final Texts With Kobe Before He Inducts Bryant Into The Hall Of Fame

The late Kobe Bryant will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday by none other than Michael Jordan. It is hardly the first time that Jordan has honored Bryant since his passing last year — he spoke at the memorial service for Bryant at Staples Center — but any opportunity for Jordan to speak publicly, particularly about a person he considered a little brother, will draw eyeballs.

Ahead of the ceremony, Jordan spoke to Jackie MacMullan of ESPN about the last time he spoke with Bryant prior to the tragic helicopter crash that took his life. Specifically, Jordan revealed the texts the pair exchanged on Dec. 8, 2019, which started with a brief discussion about his recently-launched tequila company and ended with Coach Kobe making a cameo.

“This tequila is awesome,” Kobe texted, referring to Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila, a bottle of which was sent to Bryant at the launch.
“Thank you, my brother,” Jordan responded.
“Yes, sir. Family good?” Kobe replied.
“All good. Yours?”
“All good.”
Jordan smiled, then decided to have a little fun. “He was really into coaching Gigi,” MJ explains, “so I hit him up about that.”
“Happy holidays,” Jordan texted back, “and hope to catch up soon. Coach Kobe??!”
“I added that little crying/laughing emoji,” Jordan chuckles.
“Ah, back at you, man,” Kobe wrote. “Hey, coach, I’m sitting on the bench right now, and we’re blowing this team out. 45-8.”

Beyond the fact that this story is great because we learned that Michael Jordan is an emoji person, any story about the bond that Bryant shared with his daughter Gianna, who among those who passed away in the accident, is heartwarming. Hopefully Jordan has a few more up his sleeve and we get to hear them this weekend.

Pesto Eggs Are Taking Over TikTok

Last month, Lizzo’s “nature cereal” created a frenzy online. But there’s a new breakfast in town. A recipe for “pesto eggs” has gone viral on TikTok as a basil-loaded twist on an old classic.

TikTok users create the dish by warming pesto in a small pan and then cracking eggs into the pan once the pesto is hot. The cooking method replaces oil or butter with pesto and infuses the cheesy, herbaceous elements with the eggs.

The recipe can be made with the chef’s choice of eggs: scrambled, sunny side up, or over-easy.

Amy Wilichowski, @amywilichowski on TikTok, first posted a video showing how she makes pesto eggs at the end of April. And people love it.

The video now has over 9.9 million views and 1.3 million likes, and Wilichowski describes herself as “the pesto egg girl.”

Wilichowski told the Daily Dot she was surprised by the successful of the video.

“I totally wasn’t expecting it to go viral, but it made me so happy,” Wilichowski said in an interview with the Daily Dot. “I’ve been cooking my eggs in pesto for over a year now, so I’m pumped that so many people now know about how incredible the combo is!”

Many fans of the dish identified the pesto as serving a double purpose of flavoring the eggs while adding cooking fat.

“This tastes amazing and you don’t have to use any oil because the pesto keeps the egg from sticking to the pan,” one user explained.

For fans of pesto, it’s an easy way to bring the jarred or homemade sauce to the plate during breakfast.

“Bestie I could literally eat pesto out of the jar this is perfect,” one user commented.

In Wilichowski’s video, she adds the pesto eggs to toast with ricotta cheese and avocado, then tops the eggs with red pepper flakes and a drizzle of honey.

As more viewers shared the video on TikTok, Wilichowski created two follow-up videos explaining that she uses Trader Joe’s sourdough bread for the toast and makes her own pesto from home.

On TikTok, creators added their own twists on Wilichowski’s recipe. New variations include homemade vegan pesto, substituting mozzarella or goat cheese for the ricotta cheese, drizzling the eggs with honey, and cooking the dish entirely in the oven.

“Try pesto egg on croissant with ricotta its chefs kiss,” another user wrote.

Other users saw Wilichowski’s creation as an ode Dr. Suess’ Green Eggs and Ham. The whites of the fried eggs turn subtly green from the pesto, and scrambled eggs with pesto take on even more of a green hue.

Captain American also claims to be a fan of the dish. In a 2019 interview with Men’s Journal, Chris Evans explained that while he doesn’t cook often, his favorite thing to make is pesto eggs.

“I don’t know if you’ve ever had pesto eggs, but if you haven’t, you’re missing out,” Evans said.

Users on Wilichowski’s video mentioned Evans in the comments inciting more hysterics. “POV: I’m only thinking about Chris Evans because his ‘signature dish’ is pesto eggs,” one user wrote.

“I’m only ever thinking about Chris Evans,” Wilichowski replied.

YouTuber Boogie2988 Issued Warrant Over September’s Shooting Incident

Following the shooting incident in September last year involving YouTuber Booogie2988, which led to the Boogie2988 Pointing a Gun meme, the Washington County, Arkansas sheriff’s department has now issued a warrant for his arrest, citing aggravated assault.

Boogie, whose real name is Steven Williams, was involved in an altercation with YouTuber Frank Hassle last September where Williams ultimately fired a warning shot in the air after Hassle came to his house and knocked on his door. Leading up to this incident, Hassle posted several tweets about Williams that he described as “dehumanizing.”

According to the Arkansas sheriff’s department website, the warrant was issued on May 7th with a bond set at $5,000. Late last night, the news began spreading on Twitter as prominent individuals like Keemstar tweeted about it into the early hours today.

In one tweet, Keemstar said he spoke on the phone with Boogie after hearing the news and stated that he “already arranged with his attorney to turn himself in on Wednesday.” Additionally, he confirmed that it was related to the shooting incident last summer.

Williams also confirmed the news himself, thanking his supporters for sticking by him throughout the events but also adding that he couldn’t comment much more on the warrant “for obvious reasons.”

Shortly after, Frank Hassle also tweeted about the warrant alongside the mugshot found on the site, stating, “I hope he gets the help he needs.”

Are the Roloffs and Duggars Friends? They’re Both Reality TV Families

One reason that fans seem to think the Duggars and the Roloffs are friends has to do with both families’ Christian beliefs. As most Duggar fans know, the family leans heavily on its convictions regarding modesty and traditional gender roles within families. Audrey and Jeremy Roloff have shared their own religious views on social media as well.

In fact, Audrey and Jeremy have dedicated part of their lives to encouraging other young couples to beat the statistics of divorce by following some Christian beliefs and incorporating them into their marriages.

But at both families’ cores, their religious beliefs are not all the same. And, aside from having religious ties and being on reality TV, the Roloffs and the Duggars don’t have much else in common. It still hasn’t stopped both fan bases from wondering, though.
