It’s typically a treat if I get the chance to look outside my window and see a pair of deer. They’re far away, yet close enough to enjoy. That’s one of the benefits of living near a wooded area.

However, people living in cities might suddenly find their streets overwhelmed with wildlife animals. Due to people staying indoors, animals have noticed that there’s plenty of places to roam. Some of the footage is adorable, but it’s also slightly worrisome. Will they disappear once this health scare is over? Or, will our lives start resembling Zootopia?

CBS’s Inside Edition has a bunch of these animals on film. It includes goats running amok in Wales, pigs taking over Paris, and screaming monkeys in Thailand. The last case is truly the most terrifying, as they’re largely swarming the streets in massive numbers.

“There’s less and less people out in the streets. And, wildlife are noticing,” says David Mizejewski of the National Wildlife Federation. David claims they’re out looking for food, shelter, and water. “It’s natural behavior for most species to explore,” he says.

He also noted that back in the day, these wildlife animals used to travel all over. It’s humans who pushed them out. So in a way, it’s almost like they’re visiting their old homes before people took over. Isn’t nature amazing?
