He’s one of my favorite characters & I think his character arc in S3 was really well done – a brilliant character growth that took us on a believable journey from hating him in the opening episodes to loving him when his lonely restless soul found an unexpected sense of belonging amongst people he’d previously despised & thought of as his enemy.
I’d loved his conversion journey – how it was shown as a spiritual experience on one level & an intellectual one on another. How it was an informed choice after research & critical comparison. It suited his personality as a multilingual, educated Byzantine Lord from the House of Palaiologos.
And who can ever forget his “Simply magnificent!” & “Eyvallah Osman Bey”!! ❤️❤️
