Before appearing as the kid version of Retta, you may have seen Gi’onna in small one-episode appearances on Orange Is the New Black and Blindspot. But we really hope to see more of her either later this season or next season. 

Will we see more flashbacks like this?

So far, there’s no indication that the show will explore the younger versions of Beth, Ruby, and Annie further, but that information could be under wraps. There is certainly a lot there to explore, though, and since NBC has confirmed they’re ordering a third season, it would be interesting to gain greater insight into how they became the women they are today.
