After much speculation, Bille made her relationship with the lead vocalist of The Neighbourhood, Jesse Rutherford, public in November 2022. The pair immediately faced backlash over their age gap, with Billie born in 2001 and Jesse in 1991. The commentary on their relationship didn’t seem to upset the two musicians, with them ironically dressing as a baby and an old man for Halloween in 2022.

After less than a year together, the singers decided to call it quits in May 2023. Billie’s representative reported to People that the breakup was amicable, and the two are still good friends.
