After Season 5, Episode 9 — entitled “The Empty Spaces” — airs on Tuesday, Nov. 22, New Amsterdam will go off-air for the rest of the year. The description for the midseason finale teases that “Max takes a chance with Wilder and learns a hard truth,” while “Reynolds gets creative to help a prospective mother in need,” and Iggy makes a major decision.
Promos for the episode tease chaos at Bellevue Hospital, though, we’ll have to wait a few weeks to see Season 5’s inevitable conclusion.
