Mounted in Fortnite means that you’re riding on the back of an animal. In the current season, this includes Wolves and Boars. Mounting an animal in Fortnite is a simple process. First, you’ll need to tame the animal, which can be easily done by throwing a chunk of meat at them. Once they’ve been tamed, you can interact with them to climb on top and mount them.

If you’re brave, you can try approaching animals from an angle and jumping on their back without using any food. It’s a bit more dangerous, but it’s a fast way to mount animals if your inventory is currently low on meat.

Once mounted, you’ll be able to move around much faster than normal. You’ll also have access to most of your weapons, allowing you to shoot at enemies and keep yourself safe while traveling toward the next circle.
