We Really Really Really refers to a snowclone on Twitter in which people post what they desire by repeating the word “really,” writing the word on each line such that they make a curved pattern. The trend grew popular in January of 2019 when multiple corporate Twitter accounts found success using the format.

The earliest known post to use the format appeared on December 24th, 2018. User @jjkdsc posted it with the hashtag #WE_NEED_DSC, referring to a member of Kpop group NCT127 (shown below).

On January 16th, 2019, the Chipoltle Twitter account tweeted the format and gained over 15,000 retweets and 106,000 likes (shown below, left). On January 18th, 2019, the Target Twitter account tweeted a joke with the format and gained over 22,000 retweets and 113,000 likes.
