We are coming to the end of the fourth season ….next week it will be over for a long break .
There has been brilliant acting in parts and memorable scenes . One such scene for me was Commander NICOLA’S execution by OSMAN after the victory of INEGOL. That may sound sadistic , but what a performance and what panache .
He stole the show from Osman , and as a Lord Chancellor of England remarked after reading PARADISE LOST , about the tussle between good and evil , and I quote , he said , “ Satan is a capital fellow I hope he may win “.
Even while faced with execution , NICOLA had the last word .
