A believer can never despair because despair is disbelief. Because the saying of Allah is (In ma’ al-Asarisrah) Indeed, with every difficulty there is ease – despair does not beautify the believer, because Allah, the Exalted, Himself says (La yaklf Allah nafs ila wasaha) Allah does not burden a soul more than its soul. A believer does not allow despair to come to him because we have been taught that (“la tahazn in Allah maana”) (do not grieve, Allah is with us) – a believer does not despair because the Lord of the Universe Himself says (la tahazn in Allah’s mercy) “God is with us.” Do not despair of His mercy” when all this has been taught to us in the Qur’an, should we despair of His mercy? Believe in Him. Verily, miracles are for those who believe. Only for those who believe is any prayer called. There is no rejection, we just don’t wait, the continuation of knocking shows the earnestness of the beggar and those who beg earnestly are not returned empty handed.
