Trump Dubbed ‘White House Karen’ in Memes After Election Rage Tweets

0

This year has seen plenty of so-called “Karens”—people, often women and almost always white, who obnoxiously display entitlement in public. But now, Twitter users dubbed President Donald Trump the biggest “Karen” yet after memes with the hashtag #WhiteHouseKaren took off.

Early Monday morning, Trump once again tweeted that he won the election.

Above the noise of the typical slew of responses, the hashtag #WhiteHouseKaren took over. Twitter user @Therealval2020 posted several memes of Trump wearing the stereotypical “Karen” haircut or demanding to speak to the “polls manager.”

Many of the memes have edited images of Trump so it looks like he’s calling the police or demanding to speak to a manager to complain about the vote count.

User @morethanmySLE tweeted, “ALL Presidents in U.S. History have taken responsibility for their mistakes, EXCEPT #WhiteHouseKaren. In January 2021, we will again have a President who will lead with compassion & decency.”

Another user tweeted a knock-knock joke mocking that Trump won’t live in the White House past January.

In the meantime, Trump has continued to tweet out claims that he won the election and taking credit for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Monday morning, he tweeted, “Another Vaccine just announced. This time by Moderna, 95% effective. For those great ‘historians’, please remember that these great discoveries, which will end the China Plague, all took place on my watch!”

In reply, one user tweeted, “Dude, stop being a #WhiteHouseKaren and concede. Who agrees?” The tweet got more than 8,500 likes.

Another user also mentioned Trump’s vaccine claim, saying, “Here’s #WhiteHouseKaren big mad because he’s not getting credit for developing a vaccine that he had absolutely NOTHING to do with.”

As the hashtag blew up in America, it seemed that some people were as fed up with Trump as they are with all the other Karens.
