Among his sons, Alparslan became the sultan of the Seljuk Empire.
Another son, Kavurt, became the governor of Kerman (which later on became fully independent).
A third son, Yaquti, became the governor of Azerbaijan.
So it’s not a fictional character but an important historical character.
