This is a manuscript of Fatḥ al-Bārī by Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Ḥajar al-‘Asqalānī, dated back to around 1414.

The story goes that Ibn Ḥajar had left for the Dhuhr Ṣalāh while leaving his pen and ink at his desk. His three-year-old daughter climbed the chair and began scribbling on the paper (as you can see on the picture).

Imām Ibn Ḥajar al-‘Asqalānī ash-Shāfi’ī al-Ash’arī left it as his original work due to his love for his daughter.

The Messenger of Allāh ‎ﷺ stated: “𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦.” [Muttafaqun ‘alayh]
