There was a Companion, named Firās, who loved Rasūlullāh ﷺ dearly. Because of his love, he wanted a keepsake from the belongings of Rasūlullāh ﷺ. One day he saw the Holy Prophet ﷺ eating from a dish and he wanted to keep the dish for himself, so he asked for it and Rasūlullāh ﷺ, who never rejected a request, gave it to him.

In the later days, Sayyidunā ‘Umar Ibn al-Khattāb would visit Firās, from time to time. ‘Umar al-Fārūq would ask Sayyidunā Firās to bring the dish Rasūlullāh ﷺ gave him and ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb would pour ZamZam water from the holy spring at Makkah into it. He considered it to be blessed, since the blessed lips of the Messenger of Allāh ‎ﷺ had touched it! #Tabarruk
