The Ottoman Sultān, Murād IV, signed a ceasefire in 1639 with the Safavids (Shia Empire), and one of the points included in the agreement was:
“Any mockery of the Prophet’s ﷺ companions, the Mothers of the Believers (the noble wives of Rasūlullāh ﷺ), or calling them infid*ls, will be considered a declaration of war!” #History
