The earliest writings about Osman seem to be written about 100 years after his death. So their accuracy is probably not perfect. I will tell all the fanatics here that this show, even with it’s historical flaws shows a very positive image of the Islamic faith and the Turkish ancestors to me, a western Christian. Some of the comments here however justify the negative stereotypical images spread about Muslims in the west which is sad. I will keep watching because I love the heroes, their families and followers.
