The companion of the Holy Prophet โ๏ทบ, Sa’sa’ah ibn Nฤjiyah, rescued ๐๐๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ง ๐ ๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฌ from being buried alive during the time period of Jฤhilฤซyah (ignorance) by paying compensatory money to their fathers and then used to raise them himself. Daughters were buried alive at birth and it is said that one out of every ten men was guilty of it at that time. Incidents of this nature can be found in aแธฅฤdฤซth and were narrated by some of the companions themselves after they had embraced Islฤm.
