The (Christian) missionaries used to say:
“Whenever we would go to places far away from civilization in Africa or the farthest reaches of Asia, we would see the Ṣūfī has beaten us there and is victorious against us.”

Today, “Ṣūfīs” have become a target, branded as innovators, even though it is an undeniable fact that the majority of Muslims today proudly identify themselves as such because their ancestors embraced Islām through the Da’wah and teachings of the Ṣūfiyyah.
