Seventeen-year-old Maci Currin stands at 6 ft 10″ tall, and her long legs measure just over 53 inches — meaning her legs make up 60 percent of her total height!

The teen from the suburbs of Austin, Texas now holds the Guinness World Records for having the longest legs of any female, and the longest legs on a teenager.

Maci comes from a relatively tall family, but she still towers over her parents and siblings.

When she was about 18 months old, Maci’s mom Trish realized her daughter was going to be exceptionally tall. By this point, she was already 2 feet 11 inches, which is much bigger than the average child her age.

Maci’s long legs definitely pose challenges in her everyday life. For example, she says she’s constantly hitting her head on things. She has trouble getting in and out of cars. And she even has to get her pants and leggings custom-made.

Then there are the social ramifications… the constant staring, the endless questions, and even the bullying.

Maci says she was bullied throughout her childhood because she looked so different from everyone else.

It wasn’t until her sophomore year that she decided to stop caring about what other people think.

Today, Maci is an inspiring model with a large following on social media. She is proud of her long legs and wanted to hold the Guinness World Records to inspire tall people everywhere to embrace their height.
