Sayyidunā Badr al-Dīn al-Ḥasanī once asked his students, “When you send Salām upon the Prophet ﷺ, do you hear a reply?”
After hearing their response in the negative, the noble Shaykh remarked remorsefully, “There are people who, if Rasūlullāh ﷺ were to be absent from them, they would d*e.”
Imām Badr al-Dīn al-Ḥasanī was a distinguished scholar and a devoted friend of Allāh. He embodied both the outer and inner sciences and was an exemplary figure of Ahlus Sunnah.
If this is the hearing power and status given to some people of this Ummah, can you even imagine the rank of the most Beloved of Allāh ﷺ?
