Respecting religions and sacred places is one of the main components of the Islamic principle. Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi didn’t commit cruelties and tyrannies after entering Al-Aqsa, which the Christian armies committed under their rule. Rather Salahuddin Ayubi provided protection and safety to each Christian for ransom. He and his brother Malik Adil paid ransom on their behalf for those who failed to pay. Thanks to his human loving, bravery, generosity, justice, forgiveness, and humbleness, not only among the Muslims but also among the non-Muslims, he was considered a decent and respectable ruler.
