In honor of her famous “30-Minute Meals,” Rachael Ray decided to take that same idea and apply it to another popular segment on her show: makeovers.
The first person who came to mind for a quick yet much-needed 30-minute makeover was her beloved production assistant, Max. Rachael calls Max her “daytime husband” since they spend so much time together and they’ve become such good friends. It was only right fitting that her workplace spouse looked and felt his very best!
Max, her 28-year-old culinary assistant, did not expect to go into work dressed like his usual self, only to come home looking like a whole new man.
He hadn’t cut his long brown hair since the seventh grade… but now that he’s in his late twenties, it’s beginning to thin on top. Max agreed he needed a fresh new look and approached his surprise makeover with a totally open mind. “It just seems right and it feels right to make this happen,” he said.
Max expected a haircut and beard trim, but beyond that, he had no clue how his transformation would turn out.
Let’s just say he looks great after his first haircut in many, many years. And you don’t want to miss Rachael’s reaction to Max’s brand new look.
