“Whenever anyone went into my coworker’s office, he’d make them wait to speak to him (depending on how ‘important’ they were). His boss didn’t have to wait at all, but his equals and secretary would have to wait. I was the new start, and usually, I’d be there for 10 minutes or longer. If I tried to leave, he’d stop me and keep me there for a while.”
