On this day Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han died. After his he conquested and took Constantinople (Istanbul) became known by title Fatih, finished Byzantine and started to took Balkan area. He passed away as age 49 while encamped wth his army on the first stages of a campaign in Anatolia, possibly directed against Mamluk Empire. There is substantial circumstantil evidence that he was poisoned. He ruled over the Ottoman Sultanate for over 30 years.. ✍🏻✍🏻
