Page 119 & 120 : It turned out that there was a saint sheikh among Osman’s people, his name was Edebali.

One night , Osman Gazi saw in his dream that a moon came out from the sheikh’s chest and entered his chest , and immediately a tree grown from his navel ( Osman’s navel ) . The mountains were under the shade of the tree, and the springs at the bottom of the mountains have risen and flourished.Springs and fountains flowed and vineyards appeared. In the next day, Osman Gazi went to the Sheikh and told him about the dream, the Sheikh said : ” Osman, it is a good news (tidings) for you , Allah gave you and your Lineage the sultanate, my daughter Bala hatun is halal for you”. The Sheikh gave his daughter to Osman Gazi.

Page 133 & 134 : Osman Gazi’s father-in-law Sheikh Edebali passed away , a month later , his daughter Mal hatun(malhun Hatun) , Osman’s wife and Orhan’s mother passed away. Osman buried both of them (the sheikh and his daughter) in Bilecik. Three months later, Osman Gazi passed away.
