Martha Stewart has struck out at Felicity Huffman, attacking what is sure to be the Desperate Housewives alum’s most important concern during her 14-day stay in federal prison: her new prison wardrobe. While speaking to CNN’s Brian Stelter, she commented, “She should style her outfit a little bit more. She looked pretty schlumpy.”
Martha is infamously no stranger to prison herself, after spending five months behind bars in 2004 for lying about the sell of stock that she owned. She has previously spoken about her own prison experience, saying, “It was horrifying, and no one, no one should have to go through that kind of indignity really except for murderers, and there are a few other categories, but no one should have to go through that. It’s a very, very awful thing,”
One can assume that Felicity has little to no actual input on how her prison uniform is styled, and likely isn’t particularly concerned, but here’s hoping she appreciates Martha’s insight anyway.
