Many are posting/commenting!! When will Osman Bey Yakup Bey be killed or when will his son Mehmed’s neck go? Yakup Bey was a powerful Turkmen Bey. Yaqub Bey Germanian Beylik was founded in 1300 at the beginning of the Seljuk Rum Sultanate. He conquered several important Byzantine cities including Kütahya, Alaşehir. His role in the spread of Islam in the Marmara/Azian region (Western Turkey, Asia) was immense. As the then Seljuk Empire came to an end, the powerful Turkmen began to struggle for power. Kurulus Osman looks like that. But since the series is about Usman Bey, Yakup Bey is being shown as a bit of a villain. Actually he was a brave Turkmen Bey. Yaqub Bey died in 1327 i.e. one year after the death of Usman Bey (1326). After his death, his son Mehmed I ascended the Germanic throne. In 1378, the marriage of the Ottoman Prince Bayezid I (grandson of Urhan) to the Germanian Shahzadi Devletshah Hatun (granddaughter of Mehmed) ended the conflict between the two beyliks, and the Germanians aligned with the Ottomans. Bayezid I was appointed governor of the Germanic capital Kütahya. Finally, I say, neither Usman Bey Yaqub nor Mehmed can kill anyone.
