Kahala Hotel & Resort Review Oahu Hawaii

Pros:

The beach was amazing, and the food at Arancino was great. The service was also great, and everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel special. Bear in mind that we are living in a really tough time, and so things like food service might take longer than expected. The room was spacious, and you could walk right out to the beach.

Cons:

The rooms could use an update, and depending on how you feel about dolphins in captivity, you might want to take your business elsewhere. Of course, if you’re someone who always dreamed of meeting a dolphin, this is a great place to do that. The price of the hotel and the food/drink can be steep, so you’ll want to look for deals on the room price at least if you visit.

Overall Thoughts:

For me, the Kahala was a great stay. It was super relaxing and had a chill vibe at the beach. Bear in mind, though, that I went in early March, so the vibe might change in the summer, and the prices DEFINITELY will. Checking what rooms are going for this upcoming July, they’re about double what I paid (right now it’s showing $700–$800 a room, $1,300–$2,000 for a suite in July; I paid about $350–$400 a night). At the price I paid, this place is definitely worth it to me. But at $800 a night, I would probably look for a less expensive option and just visit this resort for dinner at Arancino.
