Isla Fisher Doesn’t Talk About Sasha Baron Cohen

You know Isla Fisher from tons of things, including the Peacock show Wolf Like Me.

And you also probably know that Isla is married to comedian and actor, Sasha Baron Cohen (y’know, the Borat guy).

Isla and Sasha have been together for a long time. They’ve been married since 2010 after dating for nine years, and they have three children together.

But you never really hear either of them talk about their relationship, at all — and according to Isla, there’s a reason for that.

In a recent interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly, Isla was asked about what keeps her marriage to Sasha strong — and she ended up discussing why she prefers to not talk about her private life that much.

“I get nervous talking about it,” she said, “because I feel like, by not having my relationship in the public domain and not having spoken about how we met or really talked about our marriage publicly, it’s remained something private and valuable to me.”

“I don’t know if that’s the secret. But having a shared ability to find humor in the sharpness of life is always going to bring connection… And otherwise, I just think it’s nice to keep some things for yourself.”
