Hallmark Drops Lori Loughlin From All TV Shows And Movies Following College Admissions Scam

Actress Lori Loughlin was one of many people who were charged in a massive college admissions scam earlier this week. Now, the Hallmark network is dropping her like a hot potato.

Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to get their two daughters into USC as recruits to the crew team, despite the fact that the girls don’t participate in crew.

Lori faces charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, and she went into police custody on Wednesday. Later that day, she was released on a $1 million bond. However, she’s also facing other consequences for the allegations.

After many years of starring in successful Hallmark movies and TV shows, Hallmark released a statement that they’ll no longer be working with the 54-year-old actress.

“We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations,” the statement read. “We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
