“Grey’s Anatomy” star Caterina Scorsone has a new family update: she and her family recently welcomed her third daughter, Arwen!
In a fun twist, Caterina’s “Grey’s” character, Amelia Shepherd, is also pregnant this season. Fans have believed that the baby is fathered by Amelia’s boyfriend, Link, but in the winter finale, it was revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Owen Hunt, could possibly be the dad.
Caterina and her husband, Rob, now have three daughters in the family. Arwen joins big sisters Eliza, 7, and Paloma, 3.
Caterina has previously given interviews about motherhood, and especially about parenting Paloma, who was diagnosed with Down’s syndrome. Earlier this year she opened about navigating this road, saying “How do I mother this child? If my job is not to equip her to compete and dominate socially, or educationally, or physically or economically, if I am not supposed to help her do that, what is a mother? What is my job?”
