A New York sheriff’s office is investigating allegations of assault after a Dec. 16 Snapchat video captured a teenage boy being beaten and thrown out of a window, WKBW-TV reports.
The video, which was posted on a news-gathering Facebook page Niagara Action but is not shared here because of its graphic nature, shows a white teenage boy in a white shirt laying on the floor while people around him giggle and kick his back.

An individual then lifts the unidentified teen and throws him out of a window. Someone in the background is heard saying, "Who cares?"
The end of the video shows the teen covered in blood and dirt. The caption of the video, which appears to have been added via Snapchat, says, "Peace out goof."
The Erie County Sheriff's Office, which did not immediately respond to the Daily Dot's request for comment, said in a statement posted on Facebook on Thursday that it is investigating the incident.
The office said it spoke with the victim and his family about the assault, which took place in Clarence, New York.
"Deputies can confirm that victim sustained an injury, sought medical treatment, and was released," the sheriff's department wrote. "Many of the injuries detailed in social media posts are greatly exaggerated or even false."
The department said no charges were filed.
Clarence High School principal Kenneth Smith wrote on the district's Schoology page that students have access to school counselors, and he warned them to be mindful of misinformation.
