Episode 125, had me on the edge of my seat. I was glued, absolutely brilliant.

Bayindurs “coming out” to Ismihan was tv gold, his lines his delivery even the cadence in his voice when he said “The sword, the word, belongs to Osman” he stuck the knife of betrayal into her heart and twisted it. There was this distinct honour in his tone, a firmness when saying that. A far cry from his fake sycophant tone towards ismihan. I think she noticed 😂

Bengi Hatun, Esmas death wasn’t in vain, her exposure of ismihan at the trial was equally fantastic. Even ismihan played the anxious reaction resorting to giving her prompts well, her desperation and bengis yathaaar/enough killed me 😭I had to rewind that a few times.

Bala was the perfect person to send to reason with Bengi. Her hikma in appealing to the mother in her, as it was that bengi that was at the forefront grieving, was very well done. Bengi is a excellent actress, I felt her grieve and regret.

This episode was just perfect, can’t wait for the next. I even loved how cerkutay was duty and action based. He is in his element playing Mongol spy and agent of chaos. Even the scene where he goes back for Gurbuz was sweet.

The cliff hanger was perfect.

Sultan mesut to alladdin “do you think being under your mothers control is how to be a sultan?” Is a line that needed to be said outloud.
Alladdin is not as bad his mother but she is his downfall. His expressions to her crimes that osman laid out, was genuine surprise, and her lies to conceal it shows he doesn’t know her true face at all.

I think Malhun is pregnant, but they’ll probably mention it next episode.
I hope from here on out, kurulus Osman is as fast paced and engaging as this weeks episode.

Ismihans end needs to be next week, I want to move on from this waste women who gave up her akira for a Konya, and border lands Nayman is selling to the tekfur. Konur alp triggered her because he was spot on in his assessment. She did every thing she did because of hatred and envy for Osman.

Reminds me of this verse in the Quran

“Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls……….Thus have they drawn on themselves Wrath upon Wrath. And humiliating is the punishment of those who reject Faith.” Baqarah:90
