During the rule of Yakup Bey, the Germiyanid Beylik was the most powerful in Anatolia. Their army was huge and strong.

Yakup Bey fought many battles against the Byzantine Empire and successfully conquered many of their lands.

Germiyan Dynasty was second only to Karamanid Dynasty in its rising power. But they were later taken over by the neighboring Osmanoğlu dynasty, who were to found the Ottoman Empire later.

There are many solid reasons for why the Germiyans turned against the Ottomans and Osman Ghazi. I’ve shared all that in my video.
