Countries with permanent brown bears
Russia is home to the most brown bears in the world. It’s estimated that there are around 120k of them in Russia. On the European continent Romania is the winner with around 7000 bears.
Note:
Occasionally bears pass the border Into Hungary and Switzerland but they
don’t breed and stay there so they’re not counted as permanent Habitats.
