Can you imagine driving up a mountain and seeing a Jeep crash ahead of you? The devastating event was caught on film, and will give anyone chills.
Suzie Rhodes and her 10-month old puppy Decker were in the Jeep at the time. Suzie, who’s 23, was driving with her boyfriend in Telluride, Colorado. At one point, Suzie’s boyfriend pulled the Jeep over in order to help out another motorist. But while that was happening, the Jeep slipped off the cliff. Both Suzie and Decker were thrown from the vehicle, causing severe injuries.
Decker, at first, couldn’t be found — and his family assumed the poor puppy didn’t make it. But luckily, he shocked everyone. Decker was found by hikers and was so grateful for the chance to be reunited with his owner.
While Suzie has to undergo extensive surgery, it’s a miracle that the two are still alive. After witnessing the car fall down, it’s easy to have assumed the worst. But the puzzling part of this incident is the fact that it happened based on a good deed. Maybe that karma lead to why Suzie and Decker are both okay today.
Right now, Decker is being watched by Suzie’s parents as she recovers. But, he’s able to visit Suzie and help aid in his recovery. The two have a shared experience together, and it’s safe to say that Decker will be loyal to Suzie throughout the rest of their lives.
