Billie Eilish Comments On Jesse Rutherford Breakup
Yesterday, the singer took to Instagram to confirm the news and to share where she and Jesse stand after the split.
“[We’re] very, very good friends only,” she said in response to a fan question about their relationship. “My homie forever.”
Billie also commented on her current love life after a fan asked whether she was dating anyone new. She said: “NO SIRRRRRRR.”
Billie, 21, had previously dated the Neighbourhood singer, 31, for seven months. They first sparked dating rumors in October of 2022, before making their red carpet debut the next month.
In May, it was reported by various outlets that they’d called it quits. A rep for the singer told Page Six at the time, “We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends.”
While the reason for the split is still unclear, a source told People, “All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single.”
