As salam alaykum dear group members and admin team, please give about few minutes time and read this about Oktem bey.
Since day 1, I knew Bozdag will not end this nice character in dumb way. I am not sure about this I read somewhere Kaan Yalçın (Oktem bey) signed another project I was sure Bozdag prepared nice ending script for him. Now, going forward about his character in series so far. Audience hated him for not coming forward against Bengi’s mischief audience also called him Oktemhatun. See, he was just a bey of very small tribe. In order to save his daughter and tribe he remained silent against terror. He knew his wife was always on wrong path. But again, he was silent since he knew the outcome being going against valide sultan. He was never scared or feared of death as you can see his ending how strong heart person he was right! Being a man choosing silence when there’s something very important is completely not ok, I do not support that. But at the same time we need to understand this as well. There are so many people in our society they go silent against wrongdoings simply because they are not strong enough to face outcome and also sometimes the family members are also involved in wrongdoing. So, they choose silence in order to protect their children or old parents or for good reasons. Ponder over this. So, if you see anyone like them, dont simply make your own judgements before knowing actual truth and they actually need support. Support them mentally, financially any possible way you can.
Anyways, I liked Oktembey character, loyal behavior and silent suppport towards kayi oba and Osman bey family. He was very happy inside giving his daughter in Ertugrul Gazi family.
