According to Köprülü, Mehmed Fuad, the writer of “The Seljuks of Anatolia” book, Qutalmish Bey has five sons, one of them was Mansur and the other famous son was Suleiman ibn Qutalmish.

Suleiman ibn Qutalmish founded an independent Seljuk Turkish state in Anatolia and ruled as Seljuk Sultan of Rum from 1077 until he died in 1086.
