“I love my siblings and would do anything for them, but because I’m the oldest, I can’t have an anxiety attack in public because I always have to watch over them. I have to constantly be social with other people, because my siblings are so much more extroverted than me, and I have to make sure they’re not talking to creeps. I have to go where they go, and deal with their constant fighting and energy. I barely get a break. I do have a good life and have loving relatives, but sometimes I think about how they’ll truly never know what I have to go through sometimes. I think I am allowed to be selfish, even a little bit.”
