Woman Regrets Hosting 90th Birthday For Mom After People Who Attended Start Dying

Alice Stockton-Rossini, a journalist and radio host from New Jersey, hosted a 90th birthday for her mother — just as the outbreak was beginning to cause more public concern.

The party was held at a church in Long Beach Island. About 25 of her mother’s friends were in attendance.

At this point, social distancing guidelines were not as strict as they are currently, and social gatherings were still allowed. And many people were still unsure about how quickly the virus could spread.

However, Alice says she has come to wholeheartedly regret her decision to throw the party.

The day after the birthday party, Alice’s mother fell ill. She was congested, vomiting, and suffered from a high fever.

At the hospital, she tested positive for coronavirus.

What Alice didn’t know was that she, herself, had contracted the virus while covering an outbreak in New Rochelle, New York, for her job.

Now, it has been reported that multiple people linked to Alice’s party have passed away… and in the clip below, Alice speaks with Inside Edition about her regrets.
