Who was Konur Alp?…

Who was Konur Alp? 🤔

Before becoming the head of the Kayi Tribe, Osman Ghazi took part in many campaigns. In all his practices and campaigns, some were accompanying him and close friends to him. They all used to go to different campaigns and hunting expeditions. Konur Alp was also one of them like Turgut Alp, Samsa Cavus, Abdur Rahman Alp, and Aykut Alp. After becoming the head governor of the Kayi Tribe, all these close friends were his most trusted commanders. These commanders lead a lot of raids that took the Ottoman Empire to establish. Then the whole world saw a day when Osman became the first great Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Konur Alp was among those trusted commanders having exception. Konur Alp was also one of the first commanders who serve the Ottoman Empire in its establishment state. ⚔️

After the death of Osman Ghazi, Konur Alp was also the most trusted commander of Orhan Ghazi. Konur Alp was sent to conquer the Black Sea regions under his reign. During that campaign, he conquered areas like Akyazi, Melen River, and Mudurnu. These areas were named after him as Konur Alp Township in Duzce Province, Turkey. In the great conquest of Aydos Castle, Konur Alp was also accompanying the Abdur Rahman Ghazi. Konur Alp also showed great warship and military administration skills in the conquest of Bursa (1326 CE) but died exactly in the same year during the preparation of the conquest of Iznik.🗡️

Also, that district Hendek of Adapazari and the Valley of Mellen River were having name of Konur Alp (Konurapa). Even today the towns and the villages like Konur Hacıobası, Konur Danacıobası etc, are named after him and were founded by the tribes of Konur Alp village. And ALLAH (SWT) knows the best. 💞
