You know Anna Wintour — a fashion legend who currently serves as the editor-in-chief of American Vogue and the chief content officer of Condé Nast.
Meaning that Miranda Priestly was inspired by the lady of Wintour herself.
Well, if you’ve ever seen the movie and thought to yourself, I could definitely do that job, then this could be your chance because Vogue’s parent company, Condé Nast, just dropped a job listing to be Anna’s newest assistant.
According to the listing, some primary responsibilities included are common among most assistant roles, such as fielding emails, scheduling meetings, and booking rooms.
Other duties? Not so much. Anna is also looking for someone who can prepare presentations with an understanding of “the internal landscape (company culture, organizational structure, operating model, etc.) and external marketplace (industry, competitors, etc.)” Which honestly sounds like the job of whoever is meant to be giving the presentation, but I digress.
Condé Nast also suggests the applicant be ready to research, write, and produce content for Vogue, and be prepared to solve problems on the turn of a dime — all for $60,000 to $80,000 a year.
If you think you’re up for it, you have to be able to check off the following attributes: a college degree, 1–2 years experience in administrative support and digital media, strong organizational and time-management skills, impeccable attention to detail, confidence, and more.
Oh, and experience working with multiple countries and markets is a huge plus!
If you’ve got all that, then maybe you truly are Andrea Sachs in the making. Your future awaits at the listing here.
