(1) Coffee and water

When a guest came to the Ottoman Turks, they would offer him coffee and plain water
If the guest raised his hand towards the water, they would understand that the guest wanted food, then they would arrange the best food
And if he had extended his hand towards the coffee, he would have known that the guest did not need to eat

(2) Flowers outside the house

If yellow flowers are seen outside a house, it means that there is a patient in that house. You should not make noise outside the house because of this patient and you can come to visit.
And if red flowers were placed outside the house, it would be an indication that there is a mature girl in the house, so do not speak vulgar phrases around the house.
And if you want to bring a marriage message, welcome!

Two types of doorbell (bell-shaped) hammers were placed outside the house
One big one small
If a big hammer was sounded, it would indicate that a man had come outside the house, so the man of the house would go out
