UK Companies House Data Deduplicated Showing Maximum Profile Count Per Person By Region
To
give some context, when someone registers a company a profile is
created for them, and if they register a second company it can lead to
creating a new profile for them, which might be because they changed
their address or there was a typo in the name. And in this visualization
I am trying to show how often this happens. The highlighted red areas
represent cases where individuals have accumulated more than 500
profiles each – an astonishing number for a single person.To get to this view the data had to be deduplicated to find connections between the profiles to get to the person behind it.
