TSA Workers Find Injured Toddler Dumped In Luggage Room After Taking Scary Ride On Conveyor Belt

A mother named Edith was recently traveling through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with her two-year-old son, Lorenzo. While printing out her boarding pass, Edith set Lorenzo down on the floor. By the time she looked up, her little boy was gone.

Lorenzo had tumbled onto the automated conveyor belt situated behind the ticket counter, which at the time was unstaffed. Within seconds, he had already made it to the end of the machine where he was dropped down into the luggage room!

Edith frantically tried to catch up to him, but says the airline employees wouldn’t allow her onto the moving belt. She says she “went blank” and froze in panic.

Lorenzo’s unexpected ride lasted about five minutes and it was reportedly full of twists, turns, loops and bumps.

By the time the TSA workers found him in the luggage room and turned the conveyer belt off, Lorenzo had already broken his right hand.

The frightening journey was captured on airport security footage, which you can see below. As The Sun reports, “One terrifying part of the CCTV footage shows the boy desperately trying to scramble away, clutching onto a suitcase as he manages to partially climb on top of it, before being pulled further into the conveyor system.”
