The Northern Lights in Alaska Are a Sight to Behold and This Video Compilation Proves It

Fort Yukon is a city in Alaska that is home to fewer than 600 people and is a great place to catch the incredible Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.

The footage above was shot by photographer Vincent Ledvina, who spent more than a week photographing the Northern Lights in February and March 2022.

Ledvina said, “8,000 photos and 8 nights of Aurora-chasing later I have produced this short film on the Aurora, combining many time lapse sequences that I had captured.”
