Helen Danis, a 97-year-old woman from Rhode Island, never experienced the first dance emotions maybe even a kiss on the mature evening about 80 years ago. At that time it was the time of the Great Depression in America and Helen as a teenager could not afford such amusements.
Years would pass, and the grandmother of many grandchildren and grandchildren would never think of going to a real mature evening with high school until her niece Julie Huddon invited her to her feast.
