The Ark of the Covenant, appearing in Salah al-Din Ayyubi’s episode, is a box containing tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments that Allah gave to Moses on Mount Sinai after leaving Egypt. In the Qur’an, in Surah Al-Baqara, Allah Almighty has said that: “To these people, their Prophet said that the sign of Talut’s kingship is that the ark will return to you in which from your Lord Peace of mind is the stuff of the heart, and there are some things that Moses and Aaron left behind, which the angels will pick up, and there is a great sign in that for you, if you believe.” This ark was considered very holy and blessed among the children of Israel. They kept it with them in every battle with the infidels, and with its blessings, they won the battles.
